Country Gardens Charter School Supply List
NO BACK PACKS ALLOWED!
Small purses and pocket fitting wallets are allowed to be carried. Purses or bags must be 8×10 or smaller. No large shoulder bags are allowed. These are subject to search at administration’s discretion. All supplies will be labeled according to subjects in the classroom. Supplies of paper, pencils, and pens are always welcome as they are used throughout the year. Please be aware that some supplies will be considered “community property.” This means that the supplies will be kept in a central supply area for the whole class to use. Community property will include but not limited to: glue, crayons, scissors, pencils, Kleenex, zip locks, loose paper, and pens. The central supply area saves time in class and prevents students from arguing over supplies. Other supplies will be kept in the tubs. Watch for the large discount and dollar stores to start their school supply sales!
Kindergarten:
1 plastic storage tub with a lid, no taller than 6” tall, and no larger than 15” x 16”
1 box of crayons (16-24 count)
1 box of Markers (8-12 count) (washable)
1 large bottle of school glue
2 glue sticks
1 pair of scissors (blunt and no plastic)
2 folders (2-pocket, horizontal)
1 box of each sandwich and gallon zip lock bags
1 box of pasta (for art projects, no spaghetti)
1 large box of Kleenex tissues
2 dozen pencils (please send these every quarter)
1 package of Clorox wipes
1 composition notebook (black and white bound)
1 package of healthy snacks for 25 kids. (Snacks will be requested on a rotational basis, you will receive the schedule approximately by the 2nd week of school)
1 bottle liquid antibacterial soap
Grades 1-8
1 plastic storage tub 12” x 15” maximum size

4 dozen #2 pencils
1 box of colored pencils (12-24 count)
1 dozen red pens
2 dozen black/blue pens

1 personal size manual pencil sharpener

1 package of 3 x 5 index cards
1 large box of Kleenex tissues
1 pair of scissors (metal)
6 packages of 3 hole loose leaf notebook paper (each quarter)
1 stenographer’s notebook (6×7 spiral at top)
7 composition books (black and white bound, NO spiral notebooks
5 horizontal 2/pocket folders, no tabs
2 solid color horizontal folders with pockets with the 3 tabs to hold paper
1 package of Clorox wipes

High School:
1 binder with zipper around the entire binder
4 packages of loose leaf paper college rule (each quarter)
8 composition notebooks (each semester)
1 ruler, standard and metric
