Parents should receive the results in June for the assessments
given in April. Make sure you keep these copies.
Every student was tested in the school. Thank you for
getting your child to school during the week of testing.
Make sure to review the results of the tests with your child.
Students in high school must pass AIMS tests in reading,
writing and math to graduate.
Clubs and Tutoring
Clubs will end on May 24 and the last day of tutoring is
May 27.
Awards Assemblies
Parents are invited to attend the award assemblies the last
week of school. Parents need to park in the field. The event
will take place at the stage area. June 9 will be the awards
for grades K-4, and June 10 will be the awards for grades 5
-12. The awards start at 9:00 AM. There is no smoking on
school grounds for school events.
Teacher Appreciation Week
May 3 –7 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Please
remind your child to thank their teacher for a great year!
Water Day is June 11
Water Day is a fun day at Country Gardens. Students bring
a towel with their name and a change of clothes/shoes to
get wet. They may bring water toys, such as a squirt gun.
Students wear shorts and shirts over swim suits and bring
shoes to get wet. Black or brown shoes are not needed for
this event. Students need to bring a school shirt to wear
after they get wet. Water balloons are not allowed. It is
suggested to have your child wear sunscreen to school for
this event.
High School
Students must complete 8th grade at Country Gardens to be
eligible to attend high school. Our high school fills up
quickly. Make sure you have your child’s application in
for the 2010 – 2011 school year Reading Books
To get your refund, turn in your child’s reading book
May 24 – June 4 to your child’s teacher. Your child’s
book must be in good condition to get their refund.
Students may not participate in water day if books are
not returned.
Lost and Found
Any clothing not claimed the last day of school will be donated to Goodwill. Please label your child’s jackets and sweaters. The lost and found pile is located by the front office.
Updated Phone Numbers and Addresses
Make sure you contact the office with any changes over
the summer. We will be sending home information for
the 2010-2011 school year over the summer. Students
will be notified in the summer of the bus routes for
the 2010– 2011 school year. Please notify the office if
